Hail and Welcome!

Who are we?

We are Angaron, western PA's chapter of the Dagorhir Battle Games: a full-contact fantasy/medieval combat and recreational game.

Angaron originated in Pittsburgh, PA but we have grown to encompass a large strip of western PA. We have groups and regular practices sprinkled throughout our Realm.

Take a look around and we hope you enjoy your time with the Army of Angaron!

-----------

Angaron, translated from Elvish is “iron mountain”.

Our land is lush, with deep forests, lakes, streams and rivers. It is the host of many mountains and the home of all different types of creatures living together in peace.

A portal stands forever guarded in a lower cave of one of our mountains and lets us be connected to other parts of the world.

The “heart” of Angaron is an eternal flame. It sits in a cauldron and was gifted to the people of Angaron many generations ago by the Seelie Queen… a token of thanks in return for help given at a time when it was greatly needed. From that flame a phoenix sprang. She was named Culina and she is a great blessing on the people of Angaron. She uses that eternal flame as her nest.

Quartermaster Brylis Trigun Stormscourge

Brylis is a Manakete (draconic shapeshifter) afflicted with a mermaid's curse (she turns into a mermaid when hit with seawater) This is fancy speak for "indecisive so both".

She's been known to pop up at various events but is generally not found at practices as she's currently strictly a noncombatant. She belongs to the Sunhawks and is a member of the Dreamer's Revenge.

Her hobbies include trading at barbarian trade posts and engaging in nightlife events. She is also currently working up the courage for a bardic event but still feels too shy.

In mundania, Brylis exists in Kent OH as Kim Shepherd. A neat fact, she has participated in 2 fanzines as a writer, one of which posted on 4/13 and another on 5/31, both of this year.
