WAR COUNCIL - An annual meeting within the Dagorhir community to discuss changes, issues, proposals, plans etc.
In Angaron ours is held during the annual Ragnarok event. The date and time changes. We do our nominations, elections, proposals and voting in the weeks leading up to Ragnarok and the official results are discussed during War Council.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR CHAPTER LEADERSHIP - Angaron is growing and thriving once more. Our Bylaws list the requirements for anyone running for chapter leadership. We are a legally recognized non-profit. We have very specific rules we must follow and things each of our elected admins must do. As such, the qualification requirements to be considered for chapter leadership are:
be at least 18
have been active in Angaron for at least one year
have attended at least one event
claim Angaron as your sole chapter
be knowledgeable about the Chapter Contract, Code Of Conduct, MoA & Angaron Bylaws (as well as be knowledageable in how Chapters work in connection to National Dagorhir as a whole, as can be learned via the DBGA and RWC Bylaws) ***Super important! You MUST be prepared and intimately familiar with all of these.
Note: Running for a position means you are willing to take on the responsibility involved should you be elected. This includes:
Having your name attached to the chapter's legal paperwork with the state and IRS as well as the Chapter's bank account.
The liklihood of spending 20+ hours a week on admin duties. (Keeping an eye on national dag happenings and documenting any important things, gatthering tutorials, regular website maitenance, event details, etc.)
Ensuring there is an Angaron camp at Rag
For Book Keeper, housing the chapter's property. (At least a small bedroom is space required), keeping inventory, getting items to where they're needed and back.
The deadline for nominations is April 30.

PROPOSALS - This proposal form below is the official way to petition for change within Angaron. The proposal can be for a policy change within our realm OR a policy that a member would like to see our realm administration take to Ragnarok War Council, where official game play changes are made. Once a proposal has been received and approved by realm administration it will be posted publicly online and added to the agenda for our realm's next election & voting session. Note: Deadline for Proposals to be voted on for the current year's War Council is Apr 30th.
VOTING - In the weeks leading up to Ragnarok we'll be holding our annual Voting for elections and proposals. All nominations and proposals must be in by Apr 30th to be valid.
There are a few steps for the Voting.
Voting Registration - All people and unit reps must fill this out. It's a simple Google Form that collects information to help determine who is eligible to vote AND where to send the email with the link for each person's private vote.
Check Your Email - Each person and unit will receive a personalized link for their vote.
VOTE - Follow the link in the email and vote. If there are proposals be sure to read them before voting!
DO I GET TO VOTE? - You must be "Active" to vote. Active means:
You have up-to-date info in our Roster. (If you don't or you're not sure, fill out the Census in our Membership Section.
You have to have claimed Angaron as your chapter on a Waiver at an official event within the past 12 months
You must care about the future and continued well-being of Angaron
If in doubt, fill out the Voter Registration Form anyway!
