UNITS WITHIN ANGARON

Units are groups within Dagorhir that have banded together for various reasons. The ones listed here have a presence within Angaron.

Some units are large and have members spanning multiple realms. These are often referred to as National units. Units normally have a base-realm, the place where it's led from and certain national units with large groupings of members will have outposts in various locations. (Chapters can also have Outposts in locations away from their base.)

​Once an Angaron-based unit is able to meet all of the requirements they are able to fill out the Iron Table Application Form (linked on our Resources page) and email it to the Realm Leader to acquire special rights within our realm.

  • Background: One Blood, One Horde, All Are Equal. This is the creed of Blood Horde. Unlike other organizations, we strive to be inclusive rather than exclusive. We are a socialist monarchy with a dedication to unity and equality. We seek to unite all worthy of the name under our battle standard. It is the belief of Blood Horde that no one person is greater or lesser than the whole of the group whether he/she be an artisan, warrior, crafter or cook. All walks of life, races, and backgrounds are welcome. The group itself has a highly detailed ever evolving back story. The group itself is a nomadic kingdom cursed to roam for eternity. Each citizen is infused with a shade soul that gives them their "war form" and immortality.

  • Background: Formed by chance, Im-Kelvar came to be as a result of our core nembers regularly working together as Angaron volunteers. --- In game, we are a group of adventurers that have banded together in our need to survive. We have since become like family and have called forth the badger totem to guide our clan. Our name, Im-Kelvar, represents the connection between all living things and gives homage to our appreciation of all types of nature... regardless of form. Our tribe strives to support and encourage each member’s individuality (character background, race, story, style, everything) while also giving the sense of family and a group atmosphere.

  • Background: A large unit comprised of many houses.  (Some houses have even broken off and become their own independent unit!) Nifty trivia: The Dagorhir Knighthood started within Mirkwood, a concept brought over from the SCA and altered. It is unofficial within Dagorhir as a whole and any group can form their own Knighthood.
